Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CF Technology Group Ltd, developer of ChatFeel, collects, uses, shares, protects, and deletes information when you use the ChatFeel mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Developer and privacy contact

ChatFeel is developed by CF Technology Group Ltd, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. For privacy, safety, account, or legal questions, contact us at [email protected].

This policy is available from the ChatFeel app and website so users can understand how their data is handled.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: name, username, ChatFeel ID, email address, phone number, password or authentication token, date of birth or age confirmation, gender, profile photo, bio, country or region, language, and social login identifiers when you choose Google, Apple, Facebook, or another supported login.
  • User content: live room activity, video live activity, messages, voice messages, comments, moments, stories, images, videos, profile media, room titles, gifts, reactions, reports, and support messages you create or submit.
  • Camera, microphone, and media data: camera and microphone streams for live rooms, video calls, voice features, and verification; photos, videos, and audio files you select from your device; and local music access when you choose to play local audio in a room.
  • Verification and safety data: identity verification submissions, document images, live selfie images, face verification status, face embeddings generated for duplicate-account prevention, moderation history, violation points, ban status, report records, and appeal information.
  • Payment and creator data: virtual coin, diamond, gift, VIP, order, subscription, receipt, recharge, wallet, agency, creator, payout, withdrawal, tax, bank, or mobile payment information needed to process purchases, creator programs, and fraud checks. App store payment card details are processed by Apple, Google, or payment providers and are not stored by ChatFeel unless separately provided for creator payouts.
  • Device and technical data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, push notification token, login history, crash logs, diagnostic logs, network state, fraud and device integrity signals, and security events.
  • Approximate location signals: IP-based location, selected country or region, and other general location signals used for security, localization, fraud prevention, and service operation. ChatFeel does not require precise GPS location for its core experience unless a future feature requests it with a separate permission prompt.

3. How we use information

  • Provide accounts, login, profiles, rooms, messaging, moments, calls, gifts, wallet history, support, and creator features.
  • Operate live audio, live video, voice messages, media uploads, local music selection, push notifications, and app links.
  • Verify identity, reduce duplicate abuse, enforce host requirements, prevent fraud, detect unsafe devices or IP addresses, and protect users.
  • Moderate content and accounts, review reports, respond to appeals, investigate policy violations, and comply with legal requests.
  • Process purchases, receipts, virtual items, VIP access, creator rewards, agency activity, withdrawals, refunds, and tax or accounting requirements.
  • Maintain, debug, secure, analyze, and improve ChatFeel performance and reliability.
  • Communicate with you about your account, security, purchases, support requests, policy changes, and service updates.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data. We may share information only as needed for the following purposes:

  • Public and social features: your profile, public room activity, public moments, gifts, comments, badges, levels, and other public interactions may be visible to other users.
  • Service providers: cloud hosting, storage, database, analytics, crash reporting, push notification, real-time audio/video, moderation, fraud prevention, payment, email, and customer support vendors may process data for ChatFeel.
  • Payment platforms: Apple, Google, and payment providers process purchases, receipts, refunds, taxes, chargebacks, and compliance checks.
  • Safety and legal: we may disclose data if required by law, legal process, regulator request, emergency safety issue, or to protect users, ChatFeel, CF Technology Group Ltd, or the public.
  • Business transfers: if ChatFeel is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, data may be transferred with appropriate notice and safeguards.

5. Device permissions

ChatFeel requests device permissions only when needed for app features. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

  • Camera: live video, video calls, profile photos, media capture, and face verification.
  • Microphone: audio rooms, video rooms, voice messages, calls, and host features.
  • Photos, videos, and audio library: selecting media for profiles, moments, messages, rooms, and local music playback.
  • Notifications: messages, room updates, account activity, safety notices, purchase status, and support responses.
  • Network and device state: service connectivity, security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and app performance.
If a feature uses personal or sensitive data in a way that may not be expected from the feature itself, ChatFeel should show an in-app disclosure and request consent before collection begins.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide ChatFeel, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce terms, process creator payouts, and maintain security.

  • Account and profile data are generally kept while your account is active.
  • User content remains until you delete it, your account is deleted, or it is removed under our policies.
  • Verification, payment, payout, fraud, moderation, and safety records may be retained longer where needed for security, accounting, dispute, legal, or regulatory reasons.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics are kept only as long as reasonably needed for troubleshooting, security, and reliability.

You can request account deletion in the app from Privacy Settings, or from the public web page at delete-account.html. In-app deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period so you can cancel if the request was accidental. After completion, we delete or de-identify personal data associated with the account unless retention is required for legitimate safety, fraud, legal, financial, tax, or regulatory reasons.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Update profile details in the app.
  • Change device permissions in Android or iOS settings.
  • Use app privacy settings for supported visibility choices.
  • Request account deletion, data access, correction, or support by contacting [email protected].
  • Opt out of non-essential promotional notifications where the app provides that control.

Your rights may vary by country or region. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including HTTPS/TLS transmission, access controls, storage protections, audit practices, and fraud monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

9. Children and minors

ChatFeel is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. Children and minors under 18 cannot create accounts, join rooms, stream, message, post content, send gifts, or use ChatFeel features. We do not knowingly allow children or minors under 18 to create accounts. If you believe a minor is using ChatFeel, contact [email protected] so we can review and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, features, legal requirements, or platform requirements change. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of ChatFeel after an update means you accept the updated policy where allowed by law.
