1. Delete from the app
- Open ChatFeel.
- Go to your profile.
- Open Settings.
- Open Privacy Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
In-app deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period. During that period, the app may show the scheduled deletion date and let you cancel the request from Privacy Settings.
2. Request deletion from the web
If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address or include enough account details for verification.
3. Data deleted or de-identified
- Account profile and personal identifiers.
- Uploaded profile media, moments, and user content where deletion is technically and legally available.
- Messages and room records associated with the deleted account, subject to safety and legal retention.
- Face verification images and face embeddings, unless retention is required for fraud, dispute, or legal reasons.
- Push tokens and active session data.
4. Data that may be retained
Some records may be retained after account deletion where necessary for legitimate reasons, including:
- Purchase receipts, refunds, tax, accounting, payout, creator, agency, chargeback, and withdrawal records.
- Fraud, abuse, moderation, ban, device, IP, security, or legal records.
- Records required by law, court order, regulator request, payment processor, Apple, Google, or financial partner.
- Content copied or saved by other users before deletion, where ChatFeel does not control that copy.
5. Cancel a deletion request
If deletion is still within the 7-day grace period, open ChatFeel, go to Profile, Settings, Privacy Settings, and select Cancel Account Deletion. If you cannot access the app, contact [email protected] immediately.
